AdSense and my Blogs
I have another blog in Portuguese and people ask me if I earn money with AdSense. No, I don’t. In a good week, I don’t get 2 dollars.
Don’t be sad for me. I know why this ridiculous profits.
First of all, look at to my page: it has few ads. I don’t like polluted visuals. And for now, I won’t post more ads to increase the chances for clicks.
Second, I don’t follow the SEO system. I write what I want, always. I write to please me. I always do things to please me in the first place; don’t matter if I will be well positioned in a search engine. I’d rather build a solid audience that keeps growing consistently than an ephemeral success. And these people usually use feeds and don’t click on ads.
That is why I institute the payment-by-post via PayPal. It is a new and advanced concept and I don’t know if it will work. And no, nobody has paid me yet. I don’t see it as donation. It is a payment for a job. I consider writing one of my jobs, I have another. And I am really curious if other blogs will follow me in this.
Although my small earnings, I see blogging as a serious career. It doesn’t diminish the importance of what I do in comparison to my other works. I am very focused and committed to blogging.
Another very important factor is that my blogs are very new. Babies. But I tell you that statistics show an ascending curve, solid one. And in time it will pay off if I continue with my hard work and perseverance.
I hope all doubts are satisfied. My goal is not to hide anything from you. Otherwise, is to elucidate and help you to be more complete and happy person.
